Technique Tuesday #21 - Stamp it Up!

Good Afternoon,

Welcome to week 21 of 52 Weeks of Technique, Tool and Supply Challenges!  Each Tuesday throughout 2010, I will share a fun technique, tool or supply with you to encourage you to get busy, use your stash, try something new and be creative!

This week we explore how to Stamp It Up!

Make your titles stand out by stamping and inking your letters.

Here is my take on the challenge:  Inauguration.  A few friends and I, and a little treat to take in the days events.  I stamped each individual letter, cut it out and inked the edges.

Be Inspired and make a layout and be sure to Stamp it Up!  PLEASE NOTE: TO BE ELIGIBLE YOUR LAYOUT MUST INCLUDE: A stamped title with either each letter of a word individually stamped and cut out with the edges inked, as shown or each word (must have 3 or more words). Remember to POST your layout by Monday, May 31, 2010, 11:59pm eastern time here!  It's easy...you can post in your own album, profile, blog or gallery and then just leave a comment and include the link url here. SOMEONE WILL WIN A PRIZE THIS MONTH! This week we explore gettting BLINGED OUT!!!

Say it with BLING!  Let your bling highlight your title and photos.

Here is my take on the challenge:  Ink in a Blink..my temporary glitter tattoo while visiting Angie on St. Simon's Island, GA.  Notice how my bling not only highlights my title but leads your eye to the subject; my tattoo and highlights that photo, as well.

This week we explore BIG Brackets!!!

Say it with BRACKETS!  Let a bracket highlight your photos, titles and/or journaling.  

Here is my take on the challenge:  Summer Breeze, Makes Me Feel Fine.  Dh walking along Jacksonville Beach in Florida. Notice my BIG bracket.  Not only does it highlight my title but it also points to my photos, directing your eye to the subject.

Technique Tuesday #18 - Getting Curvy!

Welcome to week 18 of 52 Weeks of Technique, Tool and Supply Challenges!  Each Tuesday throughout 2010, I will share a fun technique, tool or supply with you to encourage you to get busy, use your stash, try something new and be creative!

This week we explore Curves!!!

Let your layouts move!  No need for everything to be in a straight line.  Circles and curves make for fun and interesting pages.

Here is my take on the challenge:  Look!  No hands.  Ms. Ayanna showing me here "no hands" bike riding skills!  Notice all of my elements (accept my patterned paper strips) are in/on a curve...title lettering, photos, buttons, ribbon and journaling blocks.
