Good Afternoon,
Welcome to week 28 of 52 Weeks of Technique, Tool and Supply Challenges! Each Tuesday throughout 2010, I will share a fun technique, tool or supply with you to encourage you to get busy, use your stash, try something new and be creative!
This week we explore creating Mix and Match Titles!
Sometimes using the same BIG Letters is just too much or too overwhelming for a layout. In fact to me it gets a bit boring when your title just includes the same fonts, same letters and no variety. With so many products on the market titles don't have to be boring and can be very jazzy! All you need to do is mix it up!
Here is my take on the challenge: Do Not Enter. Dh, myself and Angie during a visit to Angie's on St. Simon's Island. We went to Dressler's for breakfast and I thought this sign on the door was hilarious. Basically, it says Do Not Enter if you see others waiting...we'll be out to serve you when ready. LOL! You've got to read it for yourself.
For this title not only did I use various fonts but various media...stickers, rub ons and Thickers.
This page was created using a wonderful kit given to me by THE SCRAP ROOM a wonderful kit club that features 4 page kits each month! If you miss getting your Classy Paks you just might enjoy getting kits from THE SCRAP ROOM. Stay tuned! Next, week, I'll be featuring more items from the Scrap Room!
Be Inspired. Make a layout and be sure to use multiple fonts and media! PLEASE NOTE: TO BE ELIGIBLE YOUR LAYOUT MUST INCLUDE: A title that features multiple fonts and multiple media...sticker letters, rubon letters, die cut letters etc. and must be new as of July 13, 2010! Remember to POST your layout by Monday, July 19, 2010, 11:59pm eastern time here! It's easy...you can post in your own album, profile, blog or gallery and then just leave a comment and include the link url here. SOMEONE WILL WIN A PRIZE THIS MONTH! WOOHOO! JUST BE SURE TO PARTICIPATE AND LINK YOUR CREATION HERE BY THE DEADLINE. EACH WEEK YOU PARTICIPATE EQUALS AN ENTRY. THE MORE YOU ENTER THE MORE CHANCES YOU HAVE TO WIN! ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ENTERED TO WIN FREE SCRAPPIN' GOODIES FROM CLASSY COORDINATES! Have fun!
Or please join us on the NEW Classy Scrapper Forum and Gallery and simply post your layouts there to be entered to win. Be sure to include TECHNIQUE TUESDAY #28 IN THE TITLE!
Happy Scrappin'

Wow...I need to learn to proof-read! *make a short story long...so forgive me.

I have a tendency to a short story long...so figure me. Anyway, my oldest is away at Prep School for the summer because he REALLY wants to go to boarding school for high school. I'm not THRILLED about it, but I like that he set goals and are attaining them. Anyway, he is home for the first time in three weeks. After driving a total of 7.5 hours to get him, he was home for 20mins before he left to be with his best friend. Aagh, a sign of things to come. My boy is growing up. I scrapped this page of pictures when he was younger and he thought I was cool. I keep reminding myself the point of parenthood is to give our children both roots and wings.

I love the look! I am going to try to get to my room. I really wanted to do the metal challenge but we ended up going out of town. So upstairs to see what I come up with!
