Welcome to week 26 of 52 Weeks of Technique, Tool and Supply Challenges! Each Tuesday throughout 2010, I will share a fun technique, tool or supply with you to encourage you to get busy, use your stash, try something new and be creative!
This week we explore creating with MEMORABILIA!
I'm sure just like me, you have collected ticket stubs, brochures, postcards, stamps etc. from events and/or vacations. What do you do with them? There are many ways to incorporate them into your scrapbook pages. You can place them in page pockets, make them a background element, cut photos from them to embellish your page or even simply just add tickets as a fun accent!
Here is my take on the challenge: Backyard Touring. On a visit home to Chicago, our friends Rick and Michelle took us out to lunch and on an architectural tour. It was great to be a tourist in our hometown and now it is something we look forward to on each visit. On my layout, I used the souvenir photo and added the tickets, as a great accent.

Here's my memorabilia page for the Technique Tuesday #26 contest. This page consists of photos taken at Ripleys Believe it or not Museum in Ocean City, MD, during our Summer 2010 family vacation. I have attached the 4 ticket stubs from the museum. Also, this page is a 18x18 scrapbook page.... Does anyone know where I can find those anymore?? Anyway, thanks for the challenge and good luck to everyone!! :)

I did a page of my daughter 2 days old. I added her footprints and leg I.D. tag from the hospital. So excited....1st challenge!

Here is my memorabilia challenge page. I'm so excited. This is my first challenge! Yes i'm just working on my daughter's first year album. She was 2 days old in pics and I added her footprints and I.D. tag from the hosptal.

I have too many items of memorabilia that are just all over my house. This challenge will force me to at least put one scrapbook page together. Hoping to actually put a scrapbook page completed in my to do list this weekend.
