And the Winner is...and the July 2007 Plush Pak!

Finally, I am back from vacation and have pulled a winner for the RAK!  Well, actually my niece Ayanna pulled a name and the winner is....SHONA!!!  Congratulations!  You will receive the Embellishment Idea Book and a few cool embellishments too!  Enjoy your goodies!

I love this pak and had fun creating layouts and cards with it.  Here is one of the layouts I created.  It's a 2 pager...which took me out of my normal comfort zone of single page layouts.  I think it turned out ok...but I still like my single page layouts better.  The tan patterned strip on the right, actually extends over the top of the page and has rounded corners.  I love how that looks!  The layout is of dh and I dancing a Salsa on my birthday.  Anyway, here it is.  Be sure to click the image for a larger view.

I'm Stamping and a Fun RAK!!!

Guess who is getting into stamping?  Whoa!  It's something I just didn't think I'd like.  I have such a hard time with placement and stamping a clean, decent image.  Then...enters the acrylic stamp, chalk inks, a little tip from a friend and  TADA!!!!  I think I might just be hooked!  LOL!  Now I am on a search for Acrylic/Clear Stamps and cool rubber stamps!

Won't you share your favorite manufacturers with me!  Leave a comment listing the manufacturers you know who make clear/acrylic stamps and those who have some neat rubber stamps(still not sure about the rubber stamps yet...but I might be open if the right ones come along!) Just Can't Get Enough of Archivers!

Melissa, Peg, Jenny and I went to the grand opening Friday, May 25.  Melissa and I stayed to crop all day. Smart move! The line was quite long to get in...with people waiting with their chairs. Way too crowded to shop. The check out lines were out the door! Whew! Many people waited in line for an hour to check out!

While, Melissa and I, happily sat cropping, everyone else was fighting the crowds! We finally went to shop in the store at about 3:30pm! 6 hours later! So glad we chose to crop for the day...we didn't have to bother with the crowds! It was great and I completed a page and about 8 cards! That's decent for me.   Here's the layout I created.

Well guess where I was this past Saturday night?  Yep, you guessed it...one week later I was out croppin' at Archivers again.  I think they will know me by name!  LOL!
