I'm Stamping and a Fun RAK!!!
Guess who is getting into stamping? Whoa! It's something I just didn't think I'd like. I have such a hard time with placement and stamping a clean, decent image. Then...enters the acrylic stamp, chalk inks, a little tip from a friend and TADA!!!! I think I might just be hooked! LOL! Now I am on a search for Acrylic/Clear Stamps and cool rubber stamps!
Won't you share your favorite manufacturers with me! Leave a comment listing the manufacturers you know who make clear/acrylic stamps and those who have some neat rubber stamps(still not sure about the rubber stamps yet...but I might be open if the right ones come along!) LOL! For all who leave a comment you'll be entered to win a fun RAK!!! The Embellishment Idea Book by Scrapbook Trends, as well as a couple fun embellishments! Come on people share your list with me by Sunday, June 17 and you could WIN! In the meantime, check out a few of my first stamped cards (at least the first ones that have started my new obsession..LOL!)
Enjoy,
Tiare.

Your cards are beautiful! I don't know about clear/acrylic stamps - but for rubber stamps, I absolutely love Stampin Up.

Nice cards! You have to try Heidi Swapp's acrylic stamps.

Your cards are beautiful :)
I just ordered stamps from "Just Johanna" - they are great! They're not acrylic, but I love them none the less. I also love amuse stamps - both acrylic and wood mounted. Good luck in your new stamping venture :)

These are fabulous! Close to my heart has many many wonderful stamps. They are nice and come in easy containers. You can also get them from your secret pal LOL (well I did) I also bought some flourishes that are from Autumn leaves. Good luck with the collection in your new obcession!!

You absolutely have to check out Fancy Pants huge 12x12 sheet of clear stamps. They have the coolest flourishes and other designs on both of their current 2 sets.
The black/cream card is great Tiare!!

The cards are beautiful, but it funny because I have these same stamps. Like Tamara, I am a fan on Close to My Heart for acrylic stamps. I have a ton of stamps – both clear acrylic and wood blocks, and I mainly use them for stamping a title on card, but I know I’m not using them to there full potential.

I've seen some cute stamps by Inky Antics.
I love your cards, Tiare!!

I second all the companies mentioned on your blog and in your post on 2Peas. I would also mention www.villageimpressions.com for custom made stamps designed from your own art work. I am working on a scrolly-type "made by..." stamp to mark all my cards and scrapbooks. How cool would that be to have a one-of-a-kind stamp?

I see a new addiction in the making!!! These cards are SOOO nice!!!
I like CTMH - great quality for clear stamps. I like See D's stamps & Stampin'Up too. I've also found some very basic but nice value $1 stamps at AC Moore, Michael's, Joann's and even Dollar Tree.

Very Exciting!!!!!!!
I also love Hero Arts and After Midnight stamps!

Love your cards!!!! My fav acrylic stamps are Close to My Heart, Autumn Leaves, and Impression Obsesssion. For rubber, I'd say Hero Arts and Stampin Up. Have fun with your new addiction LOL.

welcome to the wonderful and addicting world of STAMPING! Love your cards... they're super cute (and I have that acrylic flower stamp you used on the 2nd? card you posted.... it's FUN FUN FUN! try putting a mini rhinestone in the center of the flower... looks TOO CUTE)!
In no specific order:
Clear Acrylic: Fontwerks, Technique Tuesday, Fancy Pants, Heidi Swapp, Autumn Leaves
Unmounted Rubber: Purple Onion Designs, Fontwerks, See D's (by Sugarloaf)
Mounted Rubber: Hero Arts, Cats Life Press, Stampin' Up, A Muse,
Other: 7 Gypsies (self-inking "seal" stamps)
Wow... There are SO MANY MORE but that's what's coming to mind right now!
And remember - you could always UNMOUNT any mounted-rubber stamp that you find that you really like/must own.

I have the most Close To My Heart stamp sets. I also Like Autumn Leaves, Art Warehouse and Fancy Pants designs. There are so many brands out there and more every day. For rubber stamps I like Hero Arts, Stampin Up, and Stampers Anonymous. Have fun collecting. You can pack a lot more acrylic stamps into the same storage space than rubber stamps so keep that in mind and they are cheaper per set.

You did a great job on your cards Tiare. I especially like the stamp on the second one. I think the stamp companies have pretty much been covered except for maybe KI Memories and The Paper Salon. Good luck on your search and Happy Stamping!

You know I am now trying to get into the "stamping thing too". I do like Autumn Leaves and Technique Tuesday, but my exposure has been limited. I think I will like pretty much any body's as long as they are acrylic!

I agree with the above posters! CTMH (Close to my Heart) is the way to go with acrylic, lots of variety and styles to choose from.
Your cards are gorgeous! keep up the awesome work. :)

I don't have a favorite manufacturer, but I like Technique Tuesday, Fancy Pants, and a set I just got from Zany Zinnia. I really like that you can perfectly place the acrylic and they take up so much less space than the rubber stamps. They're less expensive than rubber, too. Heat embossing is one of my favorite things to do with my stamps on the few things I actually complete.

Hi Tiare!
I am new to stamping myself. All I can comment on is Stamping Up's rubber stamps, however eventually I will try the clear stamps and make my own opinion. By the way...your cards and your scrapbook pages are great!

Have you seen the $1 acrylic stamps at Michaels and Joanns? They have at least 48 sets of them for $1 a set. Each set has 4-6 little stamps on a certain theme. They are great little stamps.
I am getting rid of most of my rubber stamps and going to acrylics. I like them much better. Actually I am not really that fond of stamping because I am so messy with ink and paint. The acrylics are much easier to work with.
