Flowers Anyone?

So today, I decided to post in reply to a Blog Question on a site I frequent:

With spring finally here. Let's talk flowers.  Do you do much planting outside your home?

Ummmm?  Not me!  I am seriously a city girl!  No bugs, no dirt, no digging for me!  LOL!  Now that almost seems a waste since I live in Atlanta now and the weather is so much better than the Chicago weather, for most of the year.  I do have flowers year round in my front yard...just at the entrance..see photo below.  However, know that I don't plant them.  We have someone come in twice a year who takes care of our bushes, trees, flowers etc.  He also does are regular lawn maintenance...but I get new flowers every Spring and every Fall.  I can't wait to see what he plants this Spring!

I love coming home and seeing the beautiful flowers he chooses.  Last year he did a little something unique..but..duh I didn't get any photos.  I'll be sure to get some this time around.  It's just about time for him to come, since the weather is so beautiful and in the mid 70's to low 80's now.  Stay tuned for some photos!

A Little Challenge Fun!

As usual, we're having fun on the Classy Scrapper Forum!  We just completed the 12 Week Color Challenge and last week we started the Fun and Funky Challenge with Classy Coach Megan.  Each week she will challenge us to step out of our "creative box" and try something new.

Week One she challenged us to doodle or use a rub on, on our photos!  Love this technique and will use it again and again!

This week she challenges us to:  create a layout starting with a number. You can make a list (top ten reasons why I love you. Five things I love about spring. anything!)

Ooooh....fun!  The possibilities for this one are endless.  This year I celebrate 10 years of blissful marriage!  3 years of Classy Coordinates! 9 wonderful years loving my niece!  2 Weeks in Chicago...just playing and having fun!  This week I celebrate 21.8 lbs gone!  Woohoo! 

Hmmmmm?  Let's see...what will it be?  I better get busy!
