I SUBMIT!!!!

Ok, so the other day dh comes in my scraproom and asks, if I ever submit to the magazines anymore.  Uuuuuuhhhh....no..is my response.  My last published layout was in 2004.  Well, he always has the pleasure of looking at ALL of my layouts LOL!, so he says you really should.  At that moment I decided that I would again begin to submit on a regular basis and who knows maybe I'll actually get published again!  LOL!  I've missed submitting to the mags.

On Friday, I spent part of the day scanning and submitting some layouts and thought I'll try to keep up with the submissions schedules and submit something on a weekly basis or at least every other week. 

So today, I say to you....I SUBMIT!  Wish me luck!

First Day of Spring!

It's the first day of Spring!  Yay!  Warmer weather is on the way.  I know much of the country can't tell, with snowstorms in the west.  It's a gloomy day here in GA, but I know brighter days are ahead.  I love this time of year because I know  that it's getting warmer, flowers are starting to bloom and the grass is turning green.  I get to go out and enjoy the weather and our neighborhood a bit more and soon I'll be sitting outside on the screened porch enjoying the warm breezes.  Yay! 

I took this picture last spring and thought I'd share it with you.  I think it's beautiful and hopefully it will brighten someone's day.

Where Have You Been???

Ok..so I've been super busy for the last couple of months and didn't realize that it has been since January that I updated my Blog!  Uuuuuggghhh!  It's now listed on my calendar so that I will remember to post regularly.

Anyway, are you curious to know what I've been up to?  Classy Coordinates, of course!  LOL!  Growing, growing, growing.  I've been exhibiting at local shows for the past couple of months, working on updating my processes to handle the growth and change, hiring part time employees...yeah, scrapbooking (yes, I really do scrapbook too!) and updating Scraps of Color, which is dedicated to diversity in scrapbooking.  If you haven't seen our new page, check it out at http://www.scrapsofcolor.com  be sure to sign up to receive this free e:newsletter for wonderful ideas and inspiration.

I've attached one of my favorite recent layouts.  I simply love this layout of my dh.  The colors, the elements, the layout of the photos...I'm just super pleased with how it turned out! Of course, this is one created with the March 2006 Classy Pak.  I've got plenty more layouts,  photos and thoughts to share...so stay tuned.
