Lovin' Basic Grey!!!

Don't you just love Basic Grey!  They put out such fun, unique papers, great embellishments and fun altered art projects.  In October, I had the pleasure of featuring their Fusion and Lucky lines in the Classy Pak.  Oooooooh...what fun.  I loved the rich colors in the Fusion line and fun, funky feel of the Lucky line.  Needless, to say, I was definitely inspired to create.  Here is the layout I created using the Lucky line...which quite honestly, I wasn't so sure I was going to like this line...but ended up liking it even more than Fusion. 

The layout is of my wonderful dh on his 40th birthday.  He really is fabulous at 40!  He is simply fabulous at any age, any day!  LOL!

Slowly, but Surely!

Well, I've been missing for a little while. I've had a hectic and sad couple of months.  At the beginning of September we lost my uncle.  He was only 52 years young. This definitely wasn't expected.  A few short weeks later my dh lost his grandmother.  We've been traveling for the services and playing catch up with all of our projects and things are finally starting to feel like normal again.  Flowing...slowly but surely.  Thanks to everyone who sent kind thoughts and prayers.  It meant so much.

Well, now that I can see the top of my desk again...I'll get the ball rolling with some fun posts, new layouts and photos.  Stay tuned!
