Geez! What was I thinking when I decided to get organized and paint my furniture! I must have lapsed into some kind of temporary state of insanity! Never again....new furniture from now on! First let me say, I hated painting....I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! Sanding...oh please...not here. I will never be on HGTV for my remake efforts..I am not a weekend warrior! Needless to say, the furniture looks warn because I took the easiest, tackiest way out...but I still like the results and it's quite functional.
Anyway, as many of you know I wanted to reorganize and do a bit of decorating in my scraproom. I wanted it to be functional with a hint of pretty. I think I've achieved that with my few accents. I also don't like seeing everything...thus drawers, CD holders and a closet with a nice door to close everything up! Yay! I'm happy and feel refreshed in the new room...although it isn't complete.. I still have a couple of shelves to add with decorative elements to put a top and I'd like to find a magnetic strip to hang some of my layouts. I'm also going to be looking for a pretty valance or something to add to the window and lastly, I think I've got to add a bit more paint to the chairs...but that'll just have to wait for a week or two.
